Instructions for Authors
Types of PapersJGAA publishes regular papers, concise papers and survey papers. Both regular and concise papers report the results of important and original research. However, concise papers are more focused and have a terse presentation format (5-10 pages). SubmissionPapers should be submitted to the following address [email protected] in PDF format.
Authors are asked to ensure that their paper has page numbers and line numbers. When using LaTeX for typesetting, line numbering can be switched on by adding the following two commands:
All communications between the editors, authors, and reviewers will be done by email, unless otherwise requested by the author or reviewer. The editors firmly believe that fast review time is an essential component of scholarly practice. JGAA will try to keep the review time within six months. When submitting your paper, please be aware that JGAA is a highly selective journal. In particular, the journal only publishes papers that present results of broad or substantial interest. Presenting results that are new and correct is not in itself sufficient for publication in JGAA. Publication AgreementOnce an article is accepted, the author(s) will be requested to enter into an agreement with JGAA, summarized as follows: authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0). This allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work’s authorship and initial publication in JGAA. In particular:
JGAA applies CC BY 4.0 license by default. Authors who would prefer a different license should contact the editor-in-chief before submitting their work. Final VersionAuthors of accepted papers are requested to prepare and submit the following material within two weeks from the notification of acceptance of the paper.
The compressed archive of the source files and the information file should be sent by email to the Publication Editor. The publication agreement should be transmitted as indicated in the publication agreement page. |
